This course will give you an overview of strategy, theory and practice of total compensation (cash and equity). The main topics of base pay and variable pay design and management include building pay structures, determining the pay mix for various levels of employees including executives and measuring the effectiveness of the total compensation program. Sales compensation and international compensation will be discussed briefly. Laws relevant to compensation such as FLSA and the communication of the total compensation program will be highlighted.
