Course Description

Audience: This program is for students in middle and high school, entering grade 6 through 12 in the Fall 2017.


In this program, students will learn about mobile app and game development for Android devices using the MIT App Inventor. Students will design and develop a number of mobile apps and games that take full advantage of sensors built in to most smartphones and tablets. No programming experience is required.


Instructor Information

Stan Kurkovsky

Stan Kurkovsky has been teaching computer science for well over a decade. Over the years, he taught robotics programming, game development, mobile programming, web design, and software engineering. His research in computer science teaching and learning has been supported by several grants from the National Science Foundation.
