Curriculum

The CAPM® certification is an important industry-recognized certification for entry-level project managers and is granted through The Project Management Institute, PMI, the world’s leading project management organization.

This Instructor-led program is ideal for entry-level Project Managers or those interested in becoming Project Managers, are preparing to take the rigorous Certified Associate Project Management Professional (CAPM®) examination, and want to make certain they have a high probability of passing it the first time. All materials used and provided are based on the new 6th Edition of the PMBOK

The 3-session program is based on the nine Project Management Knowledge Areas and the five Project Management Process Groups. Representative exam questions and quizzes will be given throughout each session.

Techniques used will enhance participant’s understanding, comprehension, and retention of critical knowledge and skills attained. Participants completing the 3 sessions will be awarded a Certificate of Completion and will earn the required 23 contact hours to sit for the PMP examination.

Note:

  • CAPM and PMP course participants will meet together for the first 3 sessions.
  • The PMP course participants will continue on for an additional 2 weeks.
  • CAPM participants who decide they would like to continue on and complete the PMP course may do so by paying an additional fee of $400. Contact Continuing Education at 860-832-2276 for payment.
