In this overview course, the participants will explore and investigate the many complex interfaces and design parameters associated with mechatronics and robotics.

Understand what do terms like Digitalization, Industry 4.0 mean. Different building blocks. Use cases and limitations. Participants will be introduced to multiple hardware and software technologies used in production. In this overview course, the participants will explore and investigate the many complex interfaces and design parameters associated with mechatronics and robotics. Middle managers who will be in charge of Industry 4.0 and communicate between decision-makers and floor workers.

Instructor

Dr. Ravindra Thamma

Dr. Thamma is currently Professor of Robotics and Mechatronics of CCSU’s School of Engineering, Science, and Technology. Dr. Thamma received his PhD from Iowa State University. His teaching and research interests are robotics, automation, manufacturing system, linear control systems and intelligent systems.
