Build a foundational understanding of how to use analytics to help strengthen your career as an HR professional.
This course is perfect for professionals who want an introduction to the core principles and use cases of HR Analytics. They will learn skills that will help them drive strategic insight in their organizations through the utilization of workforce data.

Core Learning Objectives:

Build a comprehensive understanding of analytics and its value proposition in the workplace
*Interactive lessons will incorporate the core concepts of analytics and the evolution of its utilization in Human Resource organizations

Implement core metrics commonly used in HR to help drive analytic insight in your organization
*Hands-on learning will allow participants to maximize their efforts using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel or Powerpoint to build business cases using HR analyses

Instructor

Ms. Taylor Stewart

Taylor Stewart is currently an Analytics Project Director at Gartner where she uses workforce analytics to help solve strategic business problems. She has over 10 years of experience working in the analytics field across multiple industries such as healthcare, research, and aerospace. While she describes herself as a “lover of all things data,” her career has been focused on providing organizational leaders with consultation on the application of data to solve critical business issues. Some of her favorite career experiences have been providing program recommendations to the state of Connecticut partners on behavioral health services, designing and deploying global surveys on current insurance trends, and creation of new talent metrics within HR organizations.

Taylor grew up in Bloomfield, CT, and currently resides in Wethersfield, CT with her dog Linus. Outside of work she enjoys doing jigsaw puzzles, going to music festivals, and spending time with her niece and nephew. Taylor has a bachelor’s degree in Statistics from the University of Connecticut as well as a master’s degree in Mathematics and an MBA in Business Analytics from Central Connecticut State University.
