Teenagers and American Society: 1920-2024: During this session we will be discussing the changing role of teenagers in American society during the past 100 years. Teenagers one hundred years ago had very different life goals than teenagers of today: we will discuss how the goals of teenagers has changed; we will also discuss how the education that educational leaders thought that teenagers should receive has radically changed as well. We will conclude the session with the difficulties of being a teenager today. A special focus will be given to teenager life from 1955-1985.

Mr. Stephen Armstrong is an adjunct professor of history at Central Connecticut State University.
