Looking for summer programs to keep your kids engaged, entertained, and educated? Central Connecticut State University has a great solution. Tech It Out offers courses in STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math – for grades entering 4 through 12 in the Fall.
Central Connecticut State University’s Tech it Out 2024 summer youth program offers week-long STEAM courses starting in July 2024. It’s where your child can make friends, have fun, and learn new things. Classes run from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and include lunch.

- Space Robotics
- Designing and Creating Sculptures with Multiple Materials and Technologies
- Coding & Creating: Python Level 1
- Coding & Creating: Python Level 2 (Advanced)
- Rated E for E-Sports and G for Gamers
- Become a Designer with Photoshop
- Learn to Animate with Adobe Animate
- Make Your Own Game with Unity
Sign Up for One or More
Students may take a different course each week to learn different subjects throughout the summer. A discount is offered to children signing up for three or more classes. Instructors are experienced CCSU faculty and may also include educators from other area schools as well as experts in their respective fields. Courses include hands-on activities along with group and teamwork experience.
Parents can rest assured that their children are well-supervised as they receive a top-notch STEAM learning experience in a fun environment. Who knows how a summer experience like this could impact your child’s future.
