When we can all safely gather again, we will welcome your children back to our campus. Until then, our programs will be virtual.

Frequently Asked Questions
What time does check-in start on the first day of the program?
Check-in begins at 8:00 am on the first day for all programs. Please check your individual registration to be sure. We cannot check in any attendee before that time.
Where do I drop off my child?
All parents will receive detailed instructions on where they need to bring their children.
What if I am late to drop off my child?
All programs begin at 9:00 am. If you are late, please text or call us at 860-832-2277 and leave a message and let us know. We will wait until 9:30 am and walk each child to their class.
Where do I pick up my child?
Every child will be at the same place where they are dropped off. The teachers walk them back and forth to their classrooms.
What if I am late to pick up my child?
If you are late, please text or call us at 860-770-2400 if you can, and let us know. All children will be at the aftercare program in the student center. We will be there until 5:30. If you are not preregistered for the aftercare program the cost is $25 per day.
Do I need to sign my child in and out each day?
No, only the first day.
Do you provide before and after care?
Before and after care is available for most of the summer. Check your program registration confirmation to be sure. You will need to register and pay to be eligible for before and after care.
Is lunch provided?
Yes. All attendees of our programs eat together from 12:00 – 12:30 in the dining hall. There will be several options. If your child requires a special diet, please pack their lunch. Please notify us of any allergies.
Is there parking?
Yes, we will inform you of where to park to walk your child to registration.
Is an Informed Consent & Medical Information Form required?
Yes. Every class requires a completed consent and medical information form.
Is there a Nurse on campus?
Yes. There is a nurse available to all attendees during the hours of the programs, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Please notify us of any special needs or allergies.
Is there financial assistance?
CCSU does not offer financial assistance to the students attending our summer program. However, there are many organizations that offer funding to families and students that qualify. CCSU is not eligible to apply for many of these grants/monies, but families can apply. We encourage you to look for grants and/or foundations that support STEM programs for kids.
